
Joanne Griffin Acting CV
Joanne is a multidiscipline performing artist of Dutch and Anglo – Romany Heritage who has performed and trained in the United States Hong Kong the United Kingdom and Istanbul.
She is experienced in film and television, short films, print shoots, TVCs, music and dance.

As an artist / musician Joanne has released two independent singles and vj ‘ed with local and touring acts. Highlight’s include The Big Chill Festival, Eastnor UK, Field Day, Sydney, Ministry Of Sound, Sydney.
Joanne holds a Masters of Art Education from the University of New South Wales and the College of Fine Arts. In 2023 she completed a dance certification from Sydney Dance Company in complex dance pieces and choreography . This inspired her to write a 5 minute Turkish Roman Fusion Dance called “The Tree of Life”. She performed it on stage at The Newcastle Bellydance Festival. It is currently in further development as she recently travelled to Istanbul to train with a source dance teacher.
Joanne has a deep performing arts practice and she is constantly working with local and international photographers on dance characters, learning new choreographies with the two troupes she is apart off when she is not creating self tapes and teaching visual arts to secondary students.
